About Lex Lybrand

Filmmaker. Storyteller. Friend. Plus actor. Greenless Studios has been the name I've attached to projects since I started college in 2002. So, for more than 10 years. Dang! I like to wear a lot of hats, both figuratively and literally. At one point I think I had a hat rack with more than 40 MLB caps on it... then our house caught on fire. Now I have a few, but no fires for a while... so I'm fine with that. :) I've been making media for as long as I can remember (outside of random memories of being hit by a car when I was 2). I ran the closed-circuit morning news show at my elementary school when I was like 8 years old, and I did that all through high school, mixing in some VHS guerilla filmmaking hijinks to fill up my free time. Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to work on a variety of projects, including everything from TV ads to documentaries to narrative films and even pro wrestling. These days, I'm trying to push it to 11. I'm currently the Multimedia Manager for Wear The Cheese, where I write articles, produce videos + podcasts, shoot photos, and design the website. Outside of that, I'm working on a couple of different films - the first being G.O.S.P.E.L. which should be ready for consumption by the end of this Summer, and the other is tentatively titled 'Summer League,' and we start shooting it later this year (baseball movie!! kinda...) Also, I recently cut my first feature film, Billi & Theodore. It was a good time, and hopefully you'll get to see it soon! You can find me on Twitter (and most other social media sites) using the handle @greenless. Do it. We should be friends.
